We (husband & wife) stayed 7 nights in a Sky Deluxe room on the second floor and felt like we had found our second home from the moment we arrived. A tranquil hideaway from the busy streets outside, a perfect view out to sea, a spacious and immaculately clean room, and staff that made you feel welcome in a really genuine way. We enjoyed our relaxed mornings over breakfast while we watched the fisherman come in, a delicious menu of varied options and excellent service. We even had lunch and dinner at the hotel (something we never usually do) as the service and food was so good, and at a really reasonable price.
It was handy to have the offers from fishermen to take us out on excursions by boat, we went to both White Sand Beach and Blue Lagoon this way. We found these guys to be honest and reliable and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
The staff were able to arrange a scooter hire for us, all done with no hassle and we didn’t have to go and find somewhere to hire off the street. If you can ride, it’s a great way to get up and down the Candidasa strip in the heat instead of walking.
We had laundry done at a good price, and everything came back perfectly.
We enjoyed some quiet time around the pool, as well as a couple of very good cocktails.
If you love peace and quiet, and a stunning view in a boutique setting you can’t go wrong with Hotel Genggong.
